Stainless steel foil (SSF) is installed over fire barrier in order to maintain compliance with UL listings where cover systems are not required. Available to buy now in 1" - 4" nominal joint sizes. Galvanized clips (also referred to as washer strips) may be required to hold SSF in place and are sold separately.
