David L. Lawrence Convention Center
Challenge
The David L. Lawrence Convention Center needed to stop wind driven rain (WDR) from entering the building.
Solution
The 1.5 million sq. ft. center incorporates CS Storm Resistant RS-7305 louvers to stop wind-driven rain from entering the building. The louvers are 7” deep fixed horizontal louvers and are designed to allow free flowing air to circulate the convention center.

When built it was the largest U.S. building to receive a GOLD Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) designation from the U.S. Green Building Council. It is the only convention center in the world with LEED® certifications of GOLD in new construction and PLATINUM in existing building.
