Modular entrance flooring that meets the demands for both beauty and durability.

When the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) decided to revitalize the airport, they contacted CS to help them resolve a problem with damaged entrance flooring in several vestibules. The entrance flooring in place was not designed to withstand the heavy traffic and rolling loads that the airport experienced.

Project: Toronto Pearson International Airport Terminal 3 Enhancement
Client: Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA)
Product: Floorometry® 101

The project’s goal was to improve passenger flow and safety and refresh the facilities to meet the needs of airport users now and into the future, while enhancing the customer experience. CS recommended Floorometry® for the installation and the GTAA went forward with a test installation in one vestibule for a period of 12 months. Pleased with the results, GTAA then proceeded with the purchase and installation of Floorometry® 101 for all the terminal’s vestibules, providing not only strength under the traffic load, but a beautiful welcome to the revitalized terminal, while effectively trapping dirt at the entrances.
