The David L. Lawrence Convention Center needed to stop wind driven rain (WDR) from entering the building.

Solution

PARTNERING TO CREATE CUTTING EDGE SOLUTIONS

Pittsburgh’s $370 million convention center is located on the south bank of the Allegheny River. When built it was the largest U.S. building to receive a GOLD Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) designation from the U.S. Green Building Council. It is the only convention center in the world with LEED® certifications of GOLD in new construction and PLATINUM in existing building.
