Robyn Lee Boettcher, an interior design instructor from Tucson, Arizona, entered the Acrovyn by Design Pattern Contest to ignite her students' imaginations at Southwest University of Visual Arts and to demonstrate the importance of participating in design competitions. Her unique, hand drawn pattern won the contest and is included in the Acrovyn by Design Pattern Collection, launched in November 2018.
Boettcher's timeless pattern design, created with the healthcare market in mind, is rooted in biophilia, featuring three vertical lines inspired by trees. The three vertical lines with the heavier base and tops were thought to be trees with a root system at the base and branches at the top. The Forest pattern is available in three monotone colors: Misty, Rain and Desert.
