C/S Storm Resistant Louvers
C/S Storm Resistant louvers were developed to resist water penetration from wind driven rain. Storm resistant louvers are 20 times more effective at stopping rain than conventional louvers. All C/S Storm Resistant Louvers have been tested in accordance with BSRIA, HEVAC and AMCA wind driven rain test
standards. Eleven models to meet any building condition are offered.

C/S Hurricane/Impact Louvers
C/S Hurricane/Impact Louvers resist pressures generated by high wind speeds and prevent the penetration of wind generated missiles in buildings. These louvers are Dade County Approved and consist of a combination of architectural louvers or grilles, structural supports, missile protection screens, operating dampers, wind driven rain protection modules and/or blank-off panels.

C/S Drainable Louvers
Drainable louvers reduce water penetration from non-wind driven rain. These louvers have blades with one or more gutters to collect and direct water to vertical down spouts in the louver jambs and mullions. The gutters eliminate water cascading from blade to blade reducing water penetration. These louvers are tested in accordance with the first AMCA developed water penetration test.

C/S Non-Drainable Louvers
Use Non-Drainable Louvers where rain protection is unimportant. Louvers with standard hook and step type non-drainable blades are not designed to reduce water penetration caused by air intake into a building. Non-Drainable extruded aluminum or formed metal louvers should be used in applications where ventilation is important and water penetration is unlikely to occur.

C/S Acoustical Louvers
Fixed, operating and dual combination acoustical models are used to decrease the transmission of sound while still allowing ventilation. The 12" deep models give maximum noise reduction. The fixed and operating airfoil louvers have the lowest pressure drop. Formed models are available in alternate materials such as galvanized steel, stainless steel, etc.

C/S Operating Louvers
Operating louvers are available with either 45 degree or 90 degree operating blades. Dual combination louvers provide a fixed louver appearance and can include non-drainable blades, drainable blades, architectural line models and intake or exhaust gravity operated louvers. All operating and dual combination models are available with manual, pneumatic or electric operating systems.

C/S Miscellaneous Louvers
C/S miscellaneous louvers include; Penthouses Insulated Louvers and Brick/Block Vents. Penthouses are available in custom sizes with any C/S Louver. Insulated and thermal break louvers feature fully gasketed, insulated blades to reduce heat loss and minimize air leakage. Use Brick/Block Vents and Ribbon Louvers in applications where height restrictions prevent use of louvers. Continuous lengths up to 20'.
