Maximizing Floorometry's Effectiveness

Using 12-18 feet of Floorometry can prevent up to 85% of dirt from entering the building's interior. Additionally, there are several techniques that can maximize Floorometry's effectiveness. Combine several Floorometry products, use Floorometry inside and outside, add carpet modules near the door and add additional grooves to 401 to create an even more effective system. For complete details and strategies on how to create the most effective entrance floor system for your situation, call a Floorometry specialist at 800-233-8493.

Exterior
The most effective entrance flooring systems start the cleaning job at the curb or sidewalk. By utilizing an appropriate Floorometry model such as 401 with exterior rubber inserts, for example, many of the larger dirt particles from foot traffic may be removed even before entering the building. Recommended for applications with the partial protection of an entrance canopy.
2
Immediately inside the doors
Dirt and water removal can be further enhanced in one of two ways: use textile materials, heavy duty carpet, for example, as modular inserts in the first few rows of Floorometry, or consider the use of smaller inserts to create more frequent drainage slots in each module.
3
Lobby interior
Since most of the cleaning and drying has already been accomplished, Floorometry modules located further into the lobby should contain fewer drainage slots in order to integrate with the appearance of the surrounding floor finish. Complete integration of Floorometry with the entrance and lobby flooring is best achieved without the use of perimeter frame.
