J. Paul Getty Art Center

The J. Paul Getty Art Center by Architect Richard Meier is designed to maximize the use of natural light. C/S Operating Skylight Shutters 17' wide by 35' long are mounted on structural walls above each of the gallery skylights. Computer controlled blades regulate the amount of light entry depending on the time of day and season.
