When Florida Energy Center wanted to reduce evergy costs by harnessing the sun's light, they specified C/S Lightshelves. 30'' wide panels, 2'' thick with a highly reflective top surface, are suspended in each of the building's offices. The lightshelves are hinged to rotate downward 90° for periodic cleaning. C/S exterior sunshades can be connected to interior lightshelves, reducing heat and glare.
