U.C. Davis

To reduce the effect of the sun's heat and glare at the magnificent University of California Davis Performing Arts Center, BOORA Architects specified a C/S Horizontal Sunshade featuring 17'' airfoil blades. The blades are supported by cut aluminum brackets mounted to rectangular vertical tubes that are independent of the curtain wall. Blades are mounted 18'' O.C.
