C/S Solarmotion Architectural Blinds (Retractable)

A simple yet effective solution to controlling heat and glare, while allowing filtered daylight to enter a building’s interior.

Architectural Blinds System — How it Works

C/S Architectural Blinds offer the flexibility to meet your aesthetic and performance requirements.
C/S offers four slats in a variety of widths/depths; Perforated, Flat, Rolled and Blackout.
The sunshades’ lifting tape is made of a weatherproof, tear-resistant material that is 1/4" wide.
All C/S Architectural Blinds are operated by our quiet, time-tested motors and intelligent operating systems.
To integrate inconspicuously into the facade, a filigree cable runs from the head of the shade through each blade to a lower holder.
Guide rails ensure that the blind will lift or lower smoothly in all exterior conditions and allow them to span up to 16' wide.
Cover panels are designed to hide how the sunshades’ top rail is mounted to the buildings’ facade.
Solarmotion Architectural Blinds can be easily mounted on all curtain wall buildings, masonry structures and retrofit buildings.

Architectural Blind Applications: Exterior

C/S Architectural blinds are most effective when mounted to the exterior lowering the SHGC to 4.

Standard Exterior System

C/S Solarmotion Architectural Blinds reduce heat gain, glare and energy. Occupants benefit from natural light & views of the outside. Available in widths to 16' and heights to 15' in dozens of options.
This shading system utilizes blades that are positioned at different angles. The bottom blades close to reduce heat and glare while the upper portion directs sunlight onto the ceiling’s interior.
The wind stable external blinds are perfect for buildings exposed to winds up to 55 MPH. This unit features high strength blades with additional cables that allow it to withstand high winds.
Ideal for buildings where heat protection is required but external sunshades cannot be used. The system’s mirrored blades point at the ceiling to provide the interior with natural daylight.

Slats in a Variety of Widths/Depths

Our rolled slats offer excellent rigidity. Flat slats allow cover panels to be shallower, Blackout slats help darken rooms, and perforated slats are used on interior blinds.

Cover Panels

A variety of cover panels are available to work with all window architecture. These covers are designed to completely house and protect the retracted slat stack.

Guide Rails

Guide rails at the ends of each slat keep the slats perfectly aligned for smooth up and down operation. A large selection of rails are available to integrate with any type of facade.
