When designing the NASCAR Hall of Fame, it was important for Pei Cobb Freed & Partners to incorporate the history and spirit of the sport, in an architectural form. And the building was designed to be LEED certified. C/S Expansion Joints helped to achieve both goals. Interior Floor, Wall and Ceiling joints were specified throughout the structure. Between the two halls’ main structures C/S Exterior Flexible Seals connect the buildings and provide movement. KB Metal parking covers provide a full range of movement for the museum’s parking garage.
