At the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Kendal/Heaton Associates specified C/S Fixed Skylight Shutters to bring natural daylight into the top floor galleries of the Audrey Jones Bach Building. The shutters are mounted to a series of spectacular rooftop lanterns that vary in size and number from room to room. Manufactured from nine different C/S louver blade profiles, the lantern shutters provide a specific amount of light penetration based on their orientation to the sun. The Architect and lighting consultant selected this louver system to provide each gallery with a specific ratio of artificial to natural light.
