C/S Project Showcase: David Lawrence Convention Center
Pittsburgh's $370 million convention center located on the south bank of the Allegheny River is the largest U.S. building to receive a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) designation from the U.S. Green Building Council. The 1.5 million sq. ft. center incorporates C/S Storm Resistant RS-7305 louvers to stop wind-driven rain from entering the building. The louvers are 7" deep fixed horizontal louvers and are designed to allow free flowing air to circulate the convention center. Architect: Rafael Viñoly, New York, NY
