Due to the orientation of the building, Perkins + Will specified two distinctively different sunshades for each elevation. To control the sun at lower angles in the morning and after-noon, fixed horizontal line sunshades with trapezoidal blades are used on the east and southern elevations. On the Southern elevation where the sun angle is higher a cantilevered sunshade with 6" airfoils are used.
