of the Bold Line and the Perform Series louvers.

Construction Specialties Inc. (C/S), the leading manufacturer of high-performing architectural specialty products, announced that it has added two new selections to its louver line. Both the Bold Line and the Perform Series offer designers visual options that are a dramatic departure from the norm.

C/S Bold Line offers architects and designers the ability to create the unique look they desire while still maintaining the verifiable performance they’ve come to depend on. Blade depth, design, spacing and color are all customizable so that the louver can become a major design feature or blend into the building’s envelope. C/S uses a 100% fluoropolymer resin powder coat finish that contains no VOCs and has a 20-year integrity warranty (AAMA 2605). Bold Line louvers are AMCA-tested and certified for both air performance and water penetration.

The C/S Perform Series provides the air movement, security and sight screening of a standard louver but its exclusive perforated façade gives it an updated, modern appearance. C/S gives designers the ability to add graphics or make louvers blend in or stand out, all while eliminating the traditional linear look. Available in both conventional and storm-resistant models, with or without frames, this louver system has been tested and approved by BSRIA (Building Services Research and Information Association).

C/S has been a leader in architectural louvers since its founding in 1948. In 1955, the company introduced the industry’s first extruded aluminum louver. Since then C/S has added storm-resistant, hurricane, operating, acoustical and insulated louvers to this impressive architectural product line.
