WDMA TM-7 “Door physical endurance testing” was conducted on the Acrovyn Door System by Intertek Testing Services NA, Inc. The slam tests evaluate the physical endurance of a Door’s contruction. The WDMA standard for “Extra Heavy Duty” door is 1,000,000 cycles. The Acrovyn door’s 20-min construction outperformed the test standard by going 2,000,000 cycles while the mineral core construction matched the 1,000,000 extra heavy duty requirements.
